# Stash > Stash is an AI notes app for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch by Grafted Software. Capture notes by voice, text, photo, or the share sheet. Stash summarizes each note into structured markdown. A hosted MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, and other agents read and write your notes. Stash is not stash.bar, Stash Anything: Save Links, savewithstash, or the Stash investing app (stash.com). The App Store listing name is Stash: Remember Everything. Voice on iPhone is speech to text into the note. Apple Watch capture is dictation. Stash does not record meeting audio. Offline notes queue on the device and are summarized when you are back online. The app is free to download. The free plan includes 30 summaries and 5 Deep Research reports per UTC month. Search, read, update, and delete over MCP are free. Creating notes and Deep Research use that allowance. Ask (questions across your notes) needs Stash Pro, an optional App Store subscription that raises the summary and research limits. Notes are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. They are not end to end encrypted, because the server summarizes them, runs Deep Research, and delivers reminders.
