Terms of Use
These terms cover the Stash iOS app and the Stash server. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Stash lets you capture notes and images. Our server summarizes them into structured notes on Anthropic's Claude models, routed through OpenRouter, with optional Deep Research reports, reminders, search, and share links. The free plan includes a monthly summary and research quota. Stash Pro (an auto-renewing App Store subscription) lifts those caps.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you stash. You grant us a limited license to store it, summarize it, sync it to your devices, and — if you create a share link — to let others import a copy. Do not stash content you do not have the right to use, or anything illegal.
To report a note, image, or share link you believe infringes a copyright, follow the DMCA notice.
Summaries are generated automatically. They can be wrong, incomplete, or outdated. Do not rely on them as professional advice.
Subscriptions
Stash Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or via Manage subscription in the app. The app also offers Restore purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service (quota evasion, automated scraping, attempting to access other people's notes, or using share links to distribute malware). We may suspend accounts that break these terms or that create operational or legal risk.
Availability
The service is provided as-is. Summarizing depends on third parties (Anthropic, OpenRouter, TypeSafe, Cloudflare, Apple, WorkOS, RevenueCat) and may fail or be delayed. We are not liable for lost notes beyond restoring what we still have on the server, or for decisions you make from summarized output.
Account deletion
You may delete your account at any time in Settings. That removes server data as described in the Privacy Policy. Active subscriptions must be canceled separately with Apple or they will keep billing.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after a posted change means you accept the new terms. The date at the top is the latest revision.
